Boss Paul Sturrock says that the ongoing takeover talks at Swindon are frustrating because he is not in a position to enter the transfer market.
He has only one fit striker signed up for next season and wants to least another four players to his squad.
Sturrock told the Advertiser: "I had pre-planned a lot and am exasperated now because the fruition of what I wanted to do has been hindered.
"A lot of the people I would probably have targeted have been gobbled up."
