Scunthorpe 2-2 Crewe Andy Crosby converted a 66th minute penalty to grab a point for Scunthorpe but leave both sides still looking for their first win of the season. Luke Rodgers had put Crewe ahead with a penalty after Lee Ridley fouled Ryan Lowe but Billy Sharp equalised by slotting in Ian Baraclough's cross.
David Vaughan restored Alex's lead from 12 yards but Crosby levelled once again after a foul on Andrew Keogh.
Crosby then almost won it but his 20-yard shot crashed off the post.
