Bradford City are hoping to extend Lee Holmes and Nathan Doyle's spells with the League One club. The Derby County pair are on loan until 4 November, but the Bantams have the option of keeping them.
Chairman Julian Rhodes said: "We can have them for six months or a season-long loan as long as it is (agreed) before the end of August."
They also have the option of extending Ben Parker's deal from Leeds, which is due to run out in January.
Rhodes admitted it was unlikely that the club could buy any of their loan signings.
And a longer deal with David Graham would depend on his Sheffield Wednesday boss Paul Sturrock.
