Burnley v Hartlepool Burnley striker Andy Gray may return after missing the weekend defeat to Wolves through suspension. But Clarets' boss Steve Cotterill will not risk keeper Danny Coyne who has a slight knee injury.
Hartlepool skipper Micky Barron could be available for the first time this season after recovering from a groin injury picked up in pre-season.
Willie Boland and Gary Liddle could be handed debuts, and Joel Porter could recover from a knee injury.

Burnley 0-1 Hartlepool Joel Porter's late penalty was enough for Hartlepool to send 10-man Burnley crashing out of the Carling Cup. Porter had been fouled by Wayne Thomas and despatched his spot-kick at the second time of asking after his first effort was disallowed for encroachment.
Thomas was sent off for the foul to make matters worse for the home side.
League Two Pools had gone close early on when Antony Sweeney headed wide - while Burnley's only real chance saw Steve Jones flash a shot just wide.
