Doncaster 0-0 Tranmere Doncaster Rovers were forced to settle for a point with a hard-working Tranmere Rovers side at Belle Vue. The visitors edged the first half in tricky windy conditions, but the home side did most of the attacking with James Coppinger causing problems.
Kevin Allison hit Tranmere's best chance wide when he latched onto a cross from Chris Greenacre.
But Doncaster finished on top with Coppinger close to snatching victory with a dipping long range effort.
