I never used to cry watching films, although in recent years I struggle to go more than a fortnight with dry eyes; in fact with some movies I feel positively cheated if I don't fill up. So what are the films that you can never watch without reaching for the Kleenex....... and don't take that the wrong way! Here are some suggestions having had a quick scan of my dvd library..... Almost Famous American Beauty Apollo 13 As Good As It Gets Casablanca Cinema Paradiso The Elephant Man Finding Neverland Forrest Gump Grave Of The Fireflies I Am Sam It's A Wonderful Life Jerry Maguire Kramer vs. Kramer Leaving Las Vegas Life Is Beautiful LOTR : ROTK Million Dollar Baby Pan's Labyrinth Rain Man Rocky (essentially at the climax of each film, bar chapter V) Walk The Line

Beaches Who Will Love My Children (God my old school friend used to make me watch all these on the Hallmark channel) Not a film but the last scene in Blackadder goes Forth If we're venturing into telly, then the Tim/Dawn scene at the party in the final episode of The Office, and a few bits in Cold Feet.

For some reason I cried when Mark Fowler left Eastenders. I must have been having a hormonal day.
