Not a term I like tbh, I think there are famous clubs like Forest and Leeds but at the minute I wouldn't say we were big clubs per se.

Don't know mate! We've got loads of trophies but we're in the 3rd Division! Newcastle have next to none and they get 50,000 in the Premiership
Like I said, just worry about success - it's not the size, it's what you do with it

Doesn't matter does it? They're doing well in a shitty stadium! definitely, but a shitty stadium packed with great fans! They don't even sell out every week...Always plenty of spare seats at Fratton Park.

definitely, but a shitty stadium packed with great fans! They don't even sell out every week...Always plenty of spare seats at Fratton Park. dunno, always seemed a good atmosphere when I've seen them on TV

I would say that numerous factors would define a 'big club'. they are (in my opinion) True Supporter base, Commercial activity, Success, Stadium, History, Facilities and ambition. So...that makes Derby a 'small to medium' sized club then!!

I would say that numerous factors would define a 'big club'. they are (in my opinion) True Supporter base, Commercial activity, Success, Stadium, History, Facilities and ambition. So...that makes Derby a 'small to medium' sized club then!! and makes us a slightly above medium club To be honest, the likes of leeds, derby, sunderland, leicester, forest etc etc are all 'medium' sized clubs! The only really BIG clubs in my opinion are Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd with Newcastle having the potential to be up there as well....the rest fall into different levels of 'mediocrity'!
