The Driving Range
A wind free zone to perfect the direction and length of your drives and perfect your technique with the fairway woods.
Picture 1 - Driving
A single picture will be posted up and players simply enter 2 captions and I will mark the entries in terms of yardage attained - from the longest to the shortest. The winner will be the player with the longest average distance from their two tries.
Picture 2 - Fairway Woods
A single picture will be posted up and players simply enter 2 captions and I will mark the entries in terms of yardage attained - from the longest to the shortest. The winner will be the player with the longest average distance from their two tries.
The Pitching Course
This part of the practise course is open to the elements and is designed to test player's short games. The ball will start 120yards from the pin - the aim being to get it as close to the pin as possible.
Picture 3- Pitching
A single picture will be posted up and players simply enter 2 captions and I will mark the entries in terms of how close to the pin players pitch their approaches. The winner will be the player with the shotest average distance from the pin from their two pitches
The Putting Green
This part of the practise course is open to the elements and players will test their putting skills. From 60ft away on a fast, undulating green players must attempt to putt their ball.
Picture 4 - Putting
A single picture will be posted up and players simply enter 2 captions and I will mark the entries in terms of how close to the pin players putts finish. The winner will be the player with the shotest average distance from the pin from their two putts.
To put it simply - enter two captions per picture and I'll worry about the scoring! Aim is to hit the ball the furthest, pitch as close to the pin as possible, and finally putt the balls!
