If Fergie in his old age decided to sell him, what would he reach in todays transfer market?
If Figo was worth £38.7M 7 years ago, and Zidane £47.5M 6 years ago then he has to at least match it, if not smash it.

Figo, I think he'd beat, but not Zidane - not yet. If he carries his current form into next season, though, then I'd have to seriously consider re-assessing that. Bear in mind this could just turn out to be a glory year, as so many players have had, and after this he could drop off a little. It's like they say; form is temporary, class is permanent - his form could be outdoing his class right now.
Somewhere around £38m-£42m sounds about right to me at the moment.

Well I agree with the first post...think he'd smash it by a mile tbh!
We may even be heading towards seeing the first ever £100 million player, with the rich gettin richer and the poor getting poorer, thats the way its heading!
There's only a select number of clubs that'd be able to afford that though, first one that springs to mind is a club down in West London, and I don't mean Fulham!!
