We don't need any further capacity at present, as we have trouble filling it as it is, don't want to end up like Wigan. Plans are in place to extend some existing stands with another tier, should we need it at a later date. The proposed changes I pretty much expected, just didn't know the details - if it's done by Christmas I'll be satisfied

True about wanting to fill it. Fook me the MadStad could be up to 38,000 by next season

I'd want a larger East Stand(but doubt the residents on Liverpool Rd would want such an overhang. If they are intent on filling in the corners(I'd prefer capacity of 25000) I hope they build in understand wind tunnels to allow the pithc to dry quickly & make sure theres adequate sunshine on the pitch so we dont have to constantly fork out on new turf. All in all sounds quite promising. Dont know if a hotel is suitable considering the idiotic number being built recently instead of affordable housing whilst what precious little of the habitats round here get concreted over. Thornhill can bugger off. Its got nothing to with her or her political cronies seeking the limelight(she was tarted up to the nines for her spiel on the evening news). All credit to Simpson & Ashton. Hope they put in new mouldable solarfittings on the East Stand That way we can save on the electricity bills & be trend setting too. PS I'm sure the new East Stand will be renamed the GT stand without further ado.I'm sure AB wont mind.Once we're in Europe under his tutelage etc we can rename the Vicarage Rd end the AB stand. ;D

Hi Ovechkin8.
A few good ideas there, on the O/S - it said there's more to come tmrw so who knows what else they have planned....
Simpson & Ashton are great guys to have on board, Ashton has history in property development I have been led to believe, so that bodes well.
