Just finished "Step on a Crack" by James Patterson / Michael Ledwig. Helluva read - but now moving away from contemporary thrillers as I've just purchased the complete "Flashman" series by George Macdonald Fraser. Should keep me going till Summer ;D

Anthony Bourdain kitchen confidential read it and you will think that Jamie Oliver is a bigger twat.
As a former chef during my Drug Days this book will give you insight to what it is to be a chef in the real world

It's the advanced colour edition with photographs of Keith Chegwin doing some very strange things with stiklebricks. It's a bit of collecters item really!!

on the road - Jack Keraouc. I'm reading that too. Do you think it's really slow....? I got bored about 1/4 way through, but I can't start a book without finishing it!

It does start a bit slow yeah, but I think that's because of the style in which it's written, rather than the story. It does get better as you go along though Stan! Everytime I read it, I get a craving for apple pie and ice cream.
