The Raleigh Grifter?
That was the top bike when I was a kid. And Spangles. All sugar, no flavour!
And the TV shows. For those over that special age. Why don't you? Was it any better than today's young TV? Or was it as bad as I can remember?
Reminisc.. remen.. Go back in history...
(Reminisce?)

Apparently they used to make most of the stuff on "why don't you " up themselves, cos they only every got letters for chocolate rice crispies. And to be honest as bad as some of the kids programmes are today WDU was pretty bloody awful. Oh, and I was C64 man myself and I had a Chopper which was always handy when you wanted to take all your mates home.

I had a commodore 64 too!! I wasn't a big fan of WDU, but I did make my Sindy doll (when they had the bigger heads and not like the small Barbie ones they are today!) a room out of a shoebox and stuff that they made on Blue Peter. Oh those were the days, that and the Blue Peter handbook as well!!!

What happened to those green and white minty sweets, about the same size as an Opal Fruit? Can't think what they were called now? Yeppity, they were pacers. Apparently there is a website that has all these 'retired' sweets listed, and they make small batches of them
