Got to be in with a big shout I'd have thought.
New recruits such as Fowler, Sinclair, Maclean, Capaldi and Rae will all do a great job I'd have thought in this league and to get them all without paying a transfer fee shows shrewd buisness.
Get a solid keeper and another striker in (Jeffers maybe?) and your squad will look pretty impressive along with the likes of Whittingham, Ledley, Purse, Johnson, Mcphail etc already there.
One season older, one season wiser, I hate to say it but looks like your serious dark horses for promotion me thinks....

Alexander is going to be bloody hard to replace. As is Chopra. I can't see Fowler doing much there, so I can't see them making it. Maybe the play-offs

I don't reckon Fowler will score as many as Chopra did as he'll heavily depend on service but he should find opportunities to score easier to come by. If they get Jeffers which looks more than likely, he'll be ideal to go along with Fowler being pacey and that. Besides the Fowler factor, Sinclair will improve the side with width and quality of service. They have a solid midfield and a solid back four and have experience from last year. As you say they need a keeper big time but they are not a million miles away in my book. Jones (although a prick) is a great manager to have in this league.

Yeah, but you have to consider the quality in the other teams; Preston, Watford, the Sheffields, Wolves, West Brom, Stoke, Charlton, and maybe even Leicester as a dark-horse, will all be pushing.

Leicester , Sheffield Utd & Wolverhampton are favourites. Takes the pressure off us . Hate the favourites tag given to us by the bookies.

Who's made Leicester favourites? Putting aside local bias I think that's a stretching it a little

Cant see fowler doing much, wheres his desire for cardiff?
sinclair adds good depth but is a little injury prone?
capaldi is a good on a free, but not a player id associate with helping win promotion.
rae i've not seen, maclean is an average champ striker.
i see more threat in watford sheff united wolves charlton west brom saints tbh.
here it goes for cardiff to go prove me wrong...

I hate the favs. tag, we have underachieved it the past with that tag As for Cardiff, they will push for the playoffs and i can see Fowler doing well if he stays fit.

You got more of a chance Rich with Burley at the helm. Our squad is paper thin. Its depressing. I think we'll struggle for a playoff spot.

I think we'll struggle for a playoff spot. our defence: right back - alex ostlund centre back - darren powell (banned for the first 3 games of the campaign), claus lundekvam (injured), pele (should play in midfield) left back - chris makin (only a back up) our defence is worthy of relegation.

I'll still reserve judgment until one more striker and keeper show up.
Just signed a young keeper on a season loan but dunno much about him...
