Dave Jones is a man I have respect for as a person and a manager but he has let himself down with his 'heat of the moment' comments over the Lee Hendrie - McPhail incident.
Only one person got McPhail sent of and that was McPhail himself. Swinging out an arm at a player in full view of the ref was only going to result in one thing.
As for Hendrie making a meal of it. Well i am sure McPhail would have done the same thing.
I see thay have lost the pointless appeal and rightly so.

Totally agree, he hit Hendrie in the face, 2 yards from the ref so what does he expect??
Jones let himself down with those comments!

McPhail - ex-Leeds. Eoin - Leeds fan. Any connection?
