Just heard on Sky Sports News that he has put a bid of 750k in for Corty. Leon has recently signed a new 2/3 year deal (can't quite remember which). To be honest, he ain't worth 750k! He is a very safe player, but is perhaps too safe when you can turn the attacker and launch the ball up field, he will put it out for a corner. As well as this, PT has already started showing you how shit he is with money. Good luck with your future cash flow, you're going to need it! news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/crystal_palace/5119366.stm

Would have thought you should aim a bit higher than him, if you truly want back in the prem.
Have you got any good players in your youth squad?

The Millwall Academy
Yes and it's produced a lot of talent, Steven Reid, Tim Cahill and Paul Ifill to name a few

Bid has been upped to £1.25m and looks like it might have been accepted. PT showing his spending talents from his Leicester days Leon Cort is not worth that much!

Oddily enough its in the Wolverhampton Express and Star that Palace are going to put a bid in of £750k for Carl Cort. Keep it in the family then!

I've heard that too Fizz. I also heard that Corty and Corty like the idea of playing in the same team.

They both scored when they played against each other last season. I have to be blantantly honest with you Alex. Carl Cort was massively off form when he came back form injury (prior to which he was the leading scorer in the Championship).
He was awful on the ball and rarely lloked like scoring. No running for the ball. Didn't challenge for many headers and when he did lost more than he won.
BUT as with most of the players that move on from Wolves im sure if he does go he will prove successful wherever it may be.
