Stoke 2-0 Derby French striker Vincent Pericard helped Stoke to their first home win of the season at the expense of Derby. Peter Sweeney played a one-two with Pericard who latched on to the return and struck home from point-blank range under heavy pressure.
City's second came when Pericard's shot from 18 yards was parried into the turf by keeper Lee Grant and Darel Russell was on hand to head in.
Derby's Ryan Smith came close but his shot was tipped over by Steve Simonsen.

It was shit! one of worst performances I've seen probably, I don't know if its fitness or anything else but they better sort it out soon or we will be in for a very long season again!

from a stoke point of view i thought derby were very poor but ive never rated billy davies as a manager and hes bbrought a team on 1 season mainly in the championship last season but i think that derby will finish mid table personally or below

That performance was like when we lost 3-0 away to Preston 2 seasons ago, no one played well, and we just need players to come in!

Is the Ryan Smith you have the same one as we had on loan from Arsenal last season?
He started well, very pacy and loved to get forward on the wing. Buit his crossing and shooting was sometimes lacking and after a while, he took his position in the side for granted and really couldn't give a stuff. Apparently lazy, selfish and arrogant on the pitch and training ground.
Still, if you can get the best out of him, he will be a great player.
This is of course, if we are talking about the same person!
