Lets hope Blackwell has read it and does something about future performances
Blackwell certainly sounds like he's more than aware of the problems in the side:
Blackwell Ready To Vent His AngerUnited boss Kevin Blackwell will conduct an inquest into his side's disappointing 1-1 draw with Leicester City on Saturday, having labelled them "brain-dead."
Leeds looked lethargic from the start and fell behind with just five minutes on the clock but were back in the game five minutes later when Robbie Blake equalised from the penalty spot after Rob Hulse had been brought down.
The Foxes saw skipper Patrick McCarthy sent off the foul on Hulse and Leeds looked odds on to make them pay for it, but rarely troubled the Leicester goal.
Blackwell was angry that his players had not performed to their usual high standards and was in no mood to just forgive and forget.
"We were not sharp in mind or in form," he said.
"The players are disappointed, they know they should have done better. We had plenty of ball and possession but we never looked like hurting them..
"Sometimes you have to go route one and then mix it up, and I felt we passed it too much. I wanted us to try and break their shape up and you can only pass information on and hope it registers between people's ears and it didn't - that's why I am disappointed and annoyed.
"I am being tempered in my anger because the lads have still given everything. It wasn't lack of effort; there was just no thought in what they were doing.
"They are a set of honest lads and I am just disappointed we didn't take the three points that were there for the taking.
"But there are certain things I am not happy with and certain people will find out this morning.
"We were not right and we did not do the job right. Leicester get all the credit from this game and we are back in on Monday when I will get a few people's heads right."
Blackwell gave a first start to Eirik Bakke since his return from a loan spell at Aston Villa, but was not entirely happy with the Norwegian international's performance.
"I expect more and demand more of Eirik and he had better give me more.
"Eirik has to get used to how we play - this is not fanny football in the championship, you can't stand off people, you need to put a foot in and get around people and play at a tempo that will suit this team, Eirik has to get used to that."
