Now that Nico's gone, it's quite obvious we need a new captain - the question is, who? The names that come to mind for me are Robinson, Vine and Coyne, though in truth I honestly don't know how any of them would fare - I'm sure they'd lead by example, and were fairly consistently solid last season (injuries aside) but I don't know what their actual leadership skills are like. Anyone else got any thoughts?

My only concern is that he in particular has been very injury-prone these last couple of seasons, which could mean have to effectively use a second-choice captain more often than we'd like.
There's definite merits in having a defender or midfielder as captain, though, and Coyne is undeniably an established regular when fit. Is he vocal enough for the job though?

We've got the opposite dilemma...... we have too many possible captains........ Butler, Gregan, Derry, Nicholls, Livermore, all mroe than capable of captaining.......
I'm sure your manager will pick the right player for the job, I doubt it will be given to someone with no leadership qualities.....
