From Leeds? what do we think blades? A pacey centre back, who's good in the air is something we need. However he's unproven at premiership level and would Leeds sell him??

hes played in the premiership before albeit briefly, he had 7 sarts in the season we went down and hes had a couple of sub appearances........ i doubt we'd sell him though, hes the best defender we've got and he knows we'll be getting promoted next season while you MAY get relegated.......

If you could get Kilgallon though he would strengthen your defence, i'd have no idea how much he'd cost though..... and i doubt Blackwell would sell him and totally piss off all the leeds fans....

It's difficult for any of sides who go up, to stay up, and if you offered me 17th place now I'd rip your arm off. I think most fans are optimistic about promotion at the start of the season. I certainly have been for the last 12 seasons, and finally it happened. As for the KB's, one of them is certainly not to be trusted. If he thought it was for the best he'd sell Kilgallon in a heartbeat and hike up the prices at Elland Road again!!

Why would he join the Blades for ONE season, when he can stay with the club he supports and spend the rest of his career up there

Found this. Blades set for Killa plungeby Phil Hay Sheffield United are set to test the resolve of Leeds United with a bid for young defender Matthew Kilgallon. The Bramall Lane club are believed to be interested in the 21-year-old centre-back, with indications today that Neil Warnock will approach Elland Road with a seven-figure bid in the coming weeks. Kilgallon is under contract until 2008 and would command a sizeable fee having signed a new two-and-a-half year deal in November, but Leeds will be hugely reluctant to part company with one of their most valuable prospects. The West Yorkshire side are yet to receive an official approach from the Blades, but Warnock's intentions may stir up interest among several of England's managers. Adie Boothroyd, who led Watford into the Premiership at Leeds' expense last month, knows Kilgallon from his time as first-team coach at Elland Road, and the defender's involvement with the England Under-20 squad has helped to raise his national profile further. The bidding for Kilgallon would be likely to start around the £1million mark, but Leeds may hold out for a larger fee if his departure becomes inevitable. A move to Bramall Lane, however, would be deeply unpopular among Elland Road supporters, who directed heavy criticism at previous boards for selling the club's key players. Sheffield United's Premiership status has given Warnock extra power in the transfer market, and the promise of a permanent role at centre-back would help to tempt Kilgallon. The youngster made 22 league starts last season during a fierce selection contest with Sean Gregan, but he was fielded at left-back for the Championship Play-off final in Cardiff. Warnock and Kevin Blackwell have gone head-to-head in the transfer market on a number of previous occasions, and the Blades boss claimed recently that a large number of his targets had found their way to Elland Road. Blackwell has already admitted that as many as nine players could leave his squad this summer, and Warnock will keep a close eye on Leeds' summer reshuffle. I still don't think Killa will go (especially not to them) but the fee in question scares me a little. ;D
