Plan C? Is that where he realises he's left it too late to bring a good keeper in, promotes kirby from the youth team and declares Adamson has done enough to be our new NO 1.

So peed off wen we lost(same old wednesday eh) ;D. Sounds like Lunt been our best player in america. Does anyone think Wheln Deserves another chance I do saves money, can be turned into a utility man, decent cover for injuries and we dont want to ruin another players career by releasin im. e.g JP Mcgovern, Collins, Reet,

With Lunt, O'brien, Folly and Adams we have a balenced central midfield , I just don't see a place for Whelan. He's not going to benifit for 15 or so starts next season so i'm afraid it's time for him to move on. Also his space in midfield can be taken by Macallister, gets one of our youth team involved more.
Our squad is looking good, we still have a few holes in the squad, especially in goal but if i was completely happy with them i'd be expecting promotion! On our American tour Lunt did well but the player who has proved he will be a class aut is 'Magic' Bougherra. Barring injury this guy will have a host of premiership clubs after him come the end of the season, and anything less than£2million should be dismissed out of hand.
If injuries don't cripple us i'd expect a comfortable mid table finish. Then next season we look for a quality striker, left back and winger and we'll be ready for the playoffs. ;D

We finished with the highest average gate last season, can't see that happening again. With the Blunts in the prem thats at least a 34,000 gate gone and Colchster and Southend wont bring many people.
This season we're looking to improve the performances and give the crowd more to cheer about. How about Ipswich, all i've really heard is trialists coming and going. Any good news with new signings at your end?

just had SO many injuries last season it was absolutely unbelievable next season, baring the injuries, we're sorted !!! donno y EVERYONE has written us off !!!!!!! Reading used a total of 26 players last year, they had a small squad but were lucky with injuries. Away at Saints we had 15 injuries to regular players, not reserves but players that would normally be involved in the matchday squad. Plenty of other occasions where the number was over 10 but just shows how injuries can affect your season. When's the first game between Owls and Ipswich? Also is it at ours or yours?

I've only been to Bristol a few times, once on the way back from Glastembury (sp) festival. On our last night my mate had his trainers stolen, he ended walking around Bristol in plastic bags wrapped in silver tank tape ;D If we don't do too badly on the injury front i think we've got the team now to finnish top half, probably 10-12. If we'd managed to sign Carson we'd of been closer to the playoffs but it wasn't meant to be.

Unless they make some good signings i'd say Luton and Qpr will be fighting with Colchester and Barnsley at the bottom. Think Southend will surprise a few, Eastwood will give them a steady supply of points as long as he's there. Don't think Sunderland will do much, there's a lot of work still needs to be done for them. Coventry will be a better team next year and i've put a sly bet on Saints to be champs (you should take a gander at my questionnaire on the saints board.) Think you'll be around us in mid table, still don't rate your attack.

Hi, im a QPR fan. Not all old keepers are s h i t, we got Paul Jones in February and he has been nothing short of fantastic for us ALL SEASON! I believe in him and Simon ROyce, we have two of the best keepers in the Championship, maybe Sheff Wed should try to Loan Jake Cole from us, he is VERY promising as well!

No thanks, i think we're looking for someone with more experience. Jones has always been a good keeper, we would of signed him but by the time our keeper injured himself he'd already verbally agredd to join your lot. Still we got Carson in the end so it all worked out. Keepers over 36 generally deteriate, some stay good for longer but most don't.
