Being 23rd does weird things to a guy ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) And to a gal? Nothing changes, they stay normal what with their unpredictable mood swings! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png)

With the exception of Barnett, and I don't know anything about that Taylor guy from Oldham - I agree. Just hope Adie can persuade them to join, we need to come back stronger. It's not an excuse, but we weren't supposed to be in the Prem yet lol, he had a 5 year plan and this is the second year. Liam, YOU know your not supposed to be there, I know your not supposed to be there, JEN knows your not supposed to be there, WE ALL KNOW your not supposed to be there....so why didn't your side just roll over and score 3 OG's instead! Cos then you'd have taken our rightful place ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png) We are meant to be in the Prem, but we just got a little ahead of schedule ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)

He's always been a gooner fan though. Him rejecting West Ham is either; a) A massive display of loyalty by Ash OR b) He's holding out for a move to Spurs or Villa I just hope we don't end up sellin him for a third of this offer halfway through next season, not often we get an offer like that. It could be that he feels hewon't better himself at West Ham, you could see his thinking behind that considering where they are.

Why leave a sinking ship for another is that what you mean?? ;D I reckon he's got a few choices: Choice 1; Bench warm at a club in the relegation mire, have a little more cash, and a slightly reduced chance of breaking into the England team. Choice 2; First choice at a club & close to his family, also likely to be relegated, however his exposure will possibly lead to an increased chance of making England apps, also a little less cash. Choice 3; Bench warm at a top prem club with more cash & more exposure. It's a toughie!

I hope he isn't holding out for Spurs.Maybe his dad is trying to get his son to help his beloved Spurs. We need that money & it would be well used over the summer whe transfer fees wont be so high.
Come on Ash .We all would like to see you stay but needs must. If we get Davenport & Routledge plus cash it would be a poor exchange.
We'd have to pay the wages & neither has convinced me as top flight players.More off days than on.
I reckon Wigan are in more danger than West Ham of going down anyway.

I'm still surprised that he didn't even want to talk terms - even if he had no intention of leaving for W Ham. I think that its always interesting to know what is on the table.
Would be funny if they went down with Benyoun, Anton Ferdinand, Reo-Coker, Tevez, Masherano etc

Maybe GB there was a clause stating he had to do the Lambeth Walk every morning & visit a pie & mash eaterie every other day. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) Seriously he has to go now.We wont a fraction of whats on the table now if he leaves in the summer. As for the Irons.R-Coker is a complete **** .They aren't worthy of his services in his own over expanded head .Masche has never had a chance. Tevez has been played out of position & rarely with Teddy or Ashton. Anton F is a younger version of his idiotic I forgot there was a test today brother whose hat size has just gone up again. Too many egos & not enough work. That dressing room is a vipers nest. Maybe thats why Ash turned them down. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Would Young moving to West Ham be the right move, he could still end up in the Championship next season. A move to Tottenham would be more suitable, and I hope Jol pays whatever is required to secure his services. From what I have seen, he is a class act.

Evening Mozz.
Well, the thing I think most hornets are unsure of is whether he rejected West Ham cos he is loyal to Watford, OR, is he waiting for a club like yourselves to come in with an offer the club will accept?
Either way - you can see he loves the club by the stuff he's been quoted by Aidy as saying, not a lot of players with that type of integrity around nowadays.
If you come in with a £10 mill bid I hope we sell tho, we'd be mad to not let him go for that, even if he will be an England regular in a few years.

Hey GB, he seems a top lad with the right attitude, and if we could get him, that would be a feather in out cap. Shame Watford are in the position that they are now looking to accept offers.
