Aidy Boothroyd remains confident his Watford side have what it takes to stay in the Premiership asking critics to reserve judgement on the Hornets.
Boothroyd's side has not yet won on their return to the top flight but the performances suggest the first full three points is not far away.
And while many have tipped the Hornets to struggle this season, Boothroyd says it is still far too early to judge his Premiership new-boys. "Only six games have been played, and I would still ask people to judge us after 38 games," said Boothroyd.
"We are in the bottom three now, but it is so early in the season. "Later in the campaign, people will be asking me different questions, such as whether we can get into Europe.
"If they are, I will just smile and remind everyone of this period - although they will probably then tell me that they still think I'm mad."

no no thats shef united watford just aint too good When you do that with footballers like he said about Sheffield United... I've kept really quiet, but I'll tell you something: he went down in my estimation when he said that - we have not resorted to that. But I'll tell ya - you can tell him now if you're watching it - we're still fighting to finish 2nd bottom, and Reading could go to pot still and get stuffed, and... and I tell you honestly, I'd love it if we beat them - love it.

The ol Keegan rant eh!
I found out the other day that in the opening season of the Prem, Sheff Utd didn't win until their 17th game of the season (under Dave Bassett) - AND STILL STAYED UP, so there's hope for us yet ;D
