Man dies following Kilkenny mine accident Monday, 19 February 2007 09:31 A father-of-two has died following an accident at a mine in Co Kilkenny.
43-year-old Michael Joyce was working near the crusher at the Galmoy Mine on Friday evening when he fell through a safety railing.
He died of his injuries yesterday afternoon.
Operations at the mine have been shut down and will not resume until after the funeral.
Just knew him to see/say hello, but as you can guess the place is fairly fucked up!
RIP Michael
