I don't see why not - be it discussion of wine, debating the best beef or recommending restaurants/recipes, I think it could provide a worthwhile extra dimension to our board, especially for those among us who enjoy cooking up culinary delights from time to time Might even inspire a few students to stop living off frozen food and takeaway meals!

Just today, for instance, I experimented seasoning my stir-fry with soy sauce, paprika and cider vinegar, purely on a whim, and it came out absolutely beautifully! We need a board where we can share that sort of thing with like-minded people! There's a fantastic cookie recipe in it for all of you

There's a fantastic cookie recipe in it for all of you Is this possibly one of the two cookie recipes of yours I've wanted for a very long time? I want cookies... On a cheap student food note - I've discovered that putting parmesan cheese in with ramen noodles before removing them from the pot so that the cheese gets all melty and attached to the noodles, (I like to strain a good majority of the water out too, even if it does remove a good portion of the flavoring as well), and then topping the finished product with teriyaki sauce makes a very good meal!

See? See? There is clearly a demand for this board, both so that Tiffie can have her cookies and students can eat real food! Admin, mods or whoever, your people have spoken!

i use teriyaki sauce on my stir frys, it really goes well with bean shoots Is that a home-made Teriyaki, or shop-bought? I've got a Japanese cook book that puts forward three different teriyaki recipes (same ingredients, different amounts) according to what you're having it with - the one for marinading fish is different to the one used as a dip, for instance. Could be worth experimenting!

shop bought m8, never tried making it myself It's not too difficult, actually - I'll put an offering up IF THIS BOARD IS CREATED! So far, that's the promise of a cookie recipe and teriyaki sauce recipes... I'm gonna be busy once it's done! ;D
