My vote goes to Mariah Carey " All I want for Christmas is You " ;D Love it. 11:59 Christmas eve in the venue (a club) - that song comes on. The balloons and fake snow stuff comes down...blinding stuff. Can't wait.

I find my mood changes according to what's playing at the time, but the three that I think stand out for me are 'Stop the cavalry' by Jona Lewie, 'Merry Christmas' by Slade and 'It's Christmas Time Again' by Bad Manners

A lot of people while not having the sort of thing they are going on about, understand what it means to have a shitty Christmas.

Jona Lewie's is a fine example ("Mary Bradley waits at home, in the nuclear fall-out zone, wish I could be dancing now, in the arms of the girl I love... Wish I was at home for Christmas"), as are others like The Darkness' one and Band Aid's. Good song, but certainly not my fave Christmas one - I agree it doesn't exactly capture the Christmas spirit!

Lesson: Buy proper presents. Love is not enough! Cynical?! Moi?!

I hate every aspect of Christmas (especially this year, as thanks to work I am now missing the one bit of Christmas I enjoy)
