It seems like Sturrock has met his end...much like Simon Davey today.

Nothing to do with the advert, if only it were just a recent thing, we have put up with this shit for a year now

Oh I should think so. What was the H feeling on Sturrock? I think he's a lovely bloke with deteriorating health issues and he needs to let football go. He's had a couple of lucky stints (1st time round at Plymouth and at Hillsborough) but he's never had a real eye for footballing talent (I'm still trying to forget Craig 'Rocky' Rocastle) I fear that this very generous first comment may be true. As for the second I'd point out in his defence Larrieu, Frio, Coughlan, Norris, I suppose now Mackie too not to mention that the legend goes that he was sacked by Southampton because Beattie took exception to Luggy signing Peter Crouch... However, before any body else does it, I know that we can counter this with Steve Adams, Simon Walton, Steve Maclean, Rory Fallon, George Donnelly...........

As well as all acting mystefied that we had Maclean as an unused sub yesterday, some Wednesday fans in the pub after the game even tried to tell us that Folly is a good player. the beer is clearly stronger than they are used to down here.
I'll add in Peter Gilbert. Always thought he was crap too. Nothing like undermining your own argument to the point of sorry collapse.

Is he really that bad for you? Bear in mind when he played for us it was in League 1.

How many games as he started Damien? I've only seen him about two or three times and probably only once as a starter. He shared Steve Maclean's knack of being on the field, getting well paid for it and absolutely nobody noticing that he's there...

I'd say he started a few, always when Summerfield or other were unavailable. He seemed a vaguely competant holding midfielder in the mould of Jimmy Abdou, but ultimately very little good came of him, and his fitness always seemed in question.
