I'm talking about the little things that sometimes appear above foreign words? Offten used in French and I'm specifically talking about the two dots above a U which is sometimes used on Swedish words.
I know there is a way of doing it on Word but I forget how, can it be done on here?

To get:
ä Alt+0228 ë Alt+0235 ï Alt+0239 ö Alt+0246 ü Alt+0252
The MS Word shortcuts don't work on here, so you'll have to do it that way.
I don't think they're actually used in French, mind; I know them from German.

Another way of doing it is going into programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character map. The you can find them and it tells you the codes or you can copy and paste them

Or you can go to MS Word and look at the 'insert symbol' shortcuts like I did...
