.... your anthem is pretty gay Agreed; however, you know where the tune came from right The lyrics come from a poem written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key, a then 35-year-old amateur poet after seeing the bombardment of Fort McHenry at Baltimore, Maryland, by Royal Navy ships in the Chesapeake Bay during the War of 1812 It was set to the tune of a popular British drinking song, written by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a London society. SO "if" drinking is gay call me english. ;D ;D depends what you're drinking also..... "the home of the brave", i'm led to believe the Chinese for English translates as "Brave People" ..... so you're out voted

you're basically saying that we're all gay over here, for having national pride & patriotism..... that doesn't even make sense brodahammer Your national anthem's hardly about national pride though... You're not remarking on how great your country is, or about the freedom of your people or anything like that; you're singing about a flag. Not just that, but about how lovely it looks "by the dawn's early light" and when bombs are going off overhead. America's got a lot going for it; you guys just picked a crap subject (Our national anthem, on the other hand, orders God around - now that's fucking power! ;D)

Like they say my bray FREEDOM's never FREE.
