For the FA CUP match on SATURDAY.....(for Derbian) in his post match interview on SSN Harry has just said he is putting out a reserve team for the cup match cos it means absolutely nothing. He will rest everyone for the home game vs Stoke on Tuesday. I bet that will please the sponsors and TV, cos it is being televised live on Sat ;D - "I can't risk Woodgate on Saturday because we've got Stoke on Tuesday and I will go to Old Trafford with the weakest team I can possibly find" - January 21. (The same Redknapp who only last year said: "When I see it devalued like a couple of years ago when teams suddenly didn't want to get involved, like Manchester United did, it's very disappointing. As far as I'm concerned I've always had a go at the FA Cup wherever I have been. I've never been at a club where we weren't interested in winning the FA Cup. We start the season in two cup competitions where we have a chance of winning - the FA Cup and the Carling Cup - and we go for it. We're not going to win the Premier League at Portsmouth, so we need to have a go at the cup competitions" - April 13 - Ignoring it shows how someone who loves the cup apparently is prepared to sacrifice it for the league). hmm

1636: Team news: A bit of call my bluff from Sir Alex Ferguson and Harry Redknapp ahead of the Man Utd-Spurs FA Cup tie was it? Both hinted at reserve teams, but while Manchester United field nine full internationals, Spurs make just three changes from the side that limped past Burnley in the League Cup on Wednesday. Fabio da Silva makes his United debut, while Vedran Corluka, Gareth Bale and Roman Pavlyuchenko replace Jonathan Woodgate, Jamie O'Hara and Jermain Defoe for Tottenham. Fabio

Harry Redknapp makes three changes to the starting XI at Burnley. Vedran Corluka starts at centre-back in place of Jonathan Woodgate, Gareth Bale on the left for Jamie O'Hara and Roman Pavlyuchenko starts up front in a lone striker role in place of Jermain Defoe.
TEAM - Alnwick, Gunter, Assou-Ekotto, Corluka, Dawson, Bentley, Huddlestone, Zokora, Bale, Modric, Pavlyuchenko.
SUBS - Gomes, Gilberto, Giovani, Taarabt, Defoe, Rocha, Dervite.
