I'd be very worried about Nigerian money backing the club as well if I were a Newcastle fan. They'll be sending out emails stating you've won millions, but they require your bank details prior to giving you the funds!

Or they've already got the bank details from computers that haven't been formatted and sent to 'those in need' in Africa.

Read 'Yes Man' by Danny Wallace where he decides to say 'Yes' to everything for a month and do it. He revises the rules after one of those emails and the ensuing chaos...

Lol that sounds like my kind of book. Just been watching the trailer for 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People'. Have you read that?

This is fucking funny, however... it's only for 6-8 games while they sort out takeover and getting a new boss in, so I think alot of people (especially the beeb) are blowing it a bit out of proportion. But why take so long to get a permanent manager in? By then the season will be too far gone to salvage. No body of any real caliber want the job. And a Nigerian consortium? ? If I was a Newcastle fan I'd be seriously worried about the next few months. I think this could be a Leeds Utd waiting to happen.

Didn't he have a heart attack not long ago? Hardly gonna help his condition managing Newcastle!

I dont think anyone wants the job hence Ashley trying to persuade Keegan to come back, i reckon it'll end up being Kinnear or Wise getting the job til the end of this season anyway, and if they kept Newcastle up they'd get a 3 year contract out of it. Shocking stuff it really is.

Just been round one of my coursemates to do an assignment swap (he'd chosen one that's too similar to his dissertation). He's so pissed off! Seven deadlines set today (one admittedly to be started after Christmas) and now this. ;D

Interim Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear has furiously denied that his is part of club owner Mike Ashley's so-called "Cockney Mafia". "How am I a cockney? I was born and reared in Ireland and played for Ireland," he said - in a strong London accent.
LOL!
