I dutifully placed him in my Fantasy Football team - any chance of him actually getting a game?

Not at this rate. It's annoying me too, as he's in my team as well! He just hasn't had the games whatsoever. I want to see him play, given a chance down that left wing, but oooooh no, he's playing left back...on the bench.

Bloody annoying as he was the only player we had worth watching too...

I wouldn't be surprised if Peter himself was getting pissed off too. It's the first time we've had a proper left winger since the days of Stuart Elliott in League 1, yet he persists to playing shitty Craig Fagan instead. Here's hoping he starts against Newcastle on Saturday and scores a hat-trick!

I hope so too. Nothing worse than having your best player snatched away one year into a four year contract only to disappear into obscurity. Can't blame Halmosi for giving it a chance, but at his age (and if he wants to extend the Premiership experience) he has to play. All last year I watched him and routinely felt he was too good for the Championship.

That's one of the problems of modern day footballers unfortunately in my opinion. It's all too easy to jump at a much higher wage, without necessarily thinking about the future. We're likely to go down, there's no 'if or but' about it, but sometimes players would be better playing that extra season or two in a lower division to fully learn their trade, before moving up a league. I like his red boots too which is another reason why I hope he plays.

Hull must have been thinking to attract all the best CCC players for next year whilst he will have been thinking to put on a show and get a deal somewhere else next year, I would imagine (no disrespect to Hull), but not getting a game would not have figured in the plan, I suspect...

I stand corrected, I thought he was 23 or something. My mistake. I totally agree with you there then; it is probably getting toward his last chance to impress and to get onto the big stage. Not sure whether Geovanni is planning on playing in the Championship though! Haha. ;d

According to Wikipedia, he is 28, so you were correct. Celtic and Blackburn were reportedly interested when you signed him too, although whether you wish to believe Wikipedia is another matter entirely. Haha.

Lol at that! In some of my lectures, some lecturers have to actually tell students to not quote from Wikipedia. You'd have thought, with the intelligence to get into university in the first place, they'd be able to make the educated decision to not quote from Wikipedia!

For what it is worth, I have to give the same advice to eleven year olds. The 6th form, however, seem to refuse to believe that Wikipedia can be anything other than fact. One told me "it must be because it is written by computers". What chance have I got?
