I started supporting Saints when I was 8... nearly 9.
I originally supported Manchester United, as that was the only team I ever saw on the tellybox, but when Man Utd won the treble - I went into school celebrating and people took the piss out of me - saying I only supported Man Utd, because they won the treble, so I started supporting Saints instead.

Have followed the (mis)fortunes of the Mighty Imps for about 20 years. However, I do have a soft spot for Man Utd due to being in the Bryan Robson fanclub when I was ickle. C'mon people, I was only 5!

When i first started to watch footy age 7, Man Utd were my team. A year later after watching Bolton hammer Wolves i decided it was time i supported my local club and the rest is history.

My first game was aged four, an old second division game away at Stamford Bridge. Hard to imagine now... It was 1976, and all I really remember about it was being eight miles up in the air away from the pitch and being bloody freezing. I think we were supposed to be at a wedding but my Dad truanted and it was all downhill and negative karma from there...

I have supported Liverpool since I was 4, I am now 41, My first game was Liverpool Vs Newcastle in 1974 we won that game 3 - 1, I remember my granddad took me and we sat in what is now the lower centenary stand, Got my first season ticket in 1983 and never missed a home game in the league or cup matches until 1997 when my first child was born and my Business could not keep up with the demands of keeping my growing family and the growing cost of going to the match, I now don't have a business and work on the railways which is not bad pay but is nowhere as good as what I was getting when I worked for my self. Now I am lucky if I get to 2/3 games a season, as it costs so much when you have 3 kids which want to go. Nowadays I ether go the pub or watch at home with my kids.
