I want to see Federer's reign on grass broken and Nadal crushed him a few weeks ago. We'll have to wait and see, I reckon it will be seriously tight this year. A five set final or something, as nobody else will beat those 2.

Just watching Murray's comeback - great game. Even if I don't like him! Hope he beats Nadal though.

Whats with this anti Murray sentiment ?
First of all everyone was sniping at Henman because he is from a middle class background & too soft at times.
Now just because Murray says he is a proud Scot people are backbiting at him.
Why should he not be a proud Scotsman ? They have provided some great soldiers & world figures in the arts ,sciences & humanities. I like him a lot. He has a great touch & if he can improve his forehand & second serve he can go a long way.
It takes real guts to get out of a hole like that last night.
One thing that did annoy me tremendously isthe way afetr almost every point the camera panned to Kimberly Sears.
I trust she wont try & become a WAG & decide to publish an autobiography, launch a perfume range etc etc though to be far to her she probably is far more educated than the chav football WAGs.
And no one comes close to McEnroe. What touch & skill he had.

Whats with this anti Murray sentiment ? Something to do with a comment about England he dished out around the time of the last World Cup I think Ovech..! Personally, I like him. He's obviously got talent and looks to progress on and on. Should be a good Q/F v Nadal!

I remember that GB & I also thought that was puerile considering how many times English & Scottish soldiers ,Welshmen & Irishmen have taken to the field together since the 1750s.
But he later said it was a silly thing to say but its the sort of thing you would hear in Austria regarding Germany & Argentina regarding Brazil.
I still think Nadal will power him off the court but I remember watching the Oz 4th round in 2006 where he gave Nadal the run around & should have beaten him but his conditioning was poor & he wilted in the heat late on.

Yes, I remember him saying it was a silly thing to say aswell. People like to hold grudges though!
He's looking in very good condition I think, more beefed up than he's ever been, hopefully he'll give Nadal a real test.

Did he only say it was a silly thing, or did he take it back properly? Makes no difference to me, but maybe it does to some people.
Can't say I'm a fan - I don't know why, but there's just something about him personally that I don't like; nothing to do with nationality or past remarks - but I won't deny that he is a very talented player and the game last night was the sign of a fantastic fighter. Let's just hope he starts like that against Nadal, though, or it'll all be over very quickly!

I only hope he does not keep playing the drop shot every other game. Its wonderful to see its return on the grass courts but with Nadals pace he usually gets to most of those.
Rallying wise I think Murray will find it hard so he has to get his first serves in & he isn't a bad rallier so you never know.
Plus Nadal may be carrying a slight injury which might help though it hardly showed against Youzhny who isn't a bad player at all.
