That made me laugh!
I'm torn between Croatia and Russia really. Russia have played some really good football lately and I did want Zenith St Petersburg to win the UEFA Cup even before they beat Bayern Munich.
But Croatia are alright, and they have the Derby connection years back

So you're a full-on hardcore gingham kinda guy then? I salute you sir, I feared you might've gone for the blue with gingham trim compromise. Can't you just try an lip-synch like the players? I'd love it if the Spanish national anthem was changed to fit the more commonly associated piece of music; the theme tune from the classic Keith Barron vehicle, 'Duty Free'! ;D Where my fashion choices are concerned, I'm with this guy .... 606championship.proboards62.com/index.cgi?board=ryhtrhtryhrth&action=display&thread=28821&page=1..... you either go the whole hog, or don't bother!! ;D Bizarrely I do, in real life, find myself in possesion of a 70's book called 'Teach Yourself: Serbo-Croat'. I'd love to see France scrap 'Le Marseilles' as their national anthem and walk out instead to the theme from Allo Allo!! ;D

If you back or support any other nation you need to take a look at yourself in the mirror. Where is your passion where is your patriotism?? Sure I love Leeds a bit more than England, but think of it this way, Leeds aren't in the Champions League, I don't go supporting Chelsea or Real Madrid just because my favourite team aren't in it. I support Leeds and England, no one else, ever! Give the man a round of applause. I support England and England only. These foreign c*nts can fuck off! I shit em!

If I had to choose any team to follow, then I'd take Austria, saying as I'm only in one sweepstake and that's this one. My gut's telling me France to win it, although that's thrown into doubt now with Viera injured and Henry and Ribery suddenly doubtful. Plus my predicitons are never very good anyway!

France:
Plus - experienced squad and full of quality... Coupet, Gallas, Ribery, Henry, Benzema.
Minus - Injury doubts over a few players.
Holland:
Plus - Good forward line in Kuyt, Van Nistelrooy, Huntelaar.
Minus - Average defence
Germany:
Plus - Experienced team full of winners and full of quality - Klose, Lahm, Metzelder, Sweinsteiger, Gomez, Podolski, Ballack.
Minus - Inexperienced coach/manager
Italy:
Plus - Tough to beat, reining world champions
Minus - Unadventurous, generally slow starters could see them knocked out in a tough group, injury to cannavaro the captain.
Portgual:
Plus - Team full of flair in Ronaldo, Simao, Quaresma.
Minus - Not a team of experienced winners at international level.
Spain:
Plus - Very strong core of Casillas, Puyol, Fabregas, Torres, Villa.
Minus - Always flop at the big stage.
Croatia:
Plus - Outsiders, little pressure on them, good midfield quality in Krancjar and Modric.
Minus - Injury to Eduardo shortens their goalscoring threat up front.
