It's all the boards fault and everything, we signed a 3 year deal with Joma, so it meant one season we would have to have a shirt, then change it and have one for 2 seasons, making more money but its exactly the same with sponsers, the agree an odd number of years so they have to make more shirts to cover that period of time, so say it was 5 year deal, that would be in 4 years there owuld be 2 different shirts, then a season with one different one or am I babbling on a bit.... ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) Lol its ok you havent sent me to sleep! Yet! ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) TBH mate, the last Derby kit i liked was the Puma one with with the kind of 2 stripe coming down it.....the others since have been, well......rather cack ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png)

I agree, we do have a tendancy to produce crap kits, I liked the blue away one we had the other year but it wasn't great. Puma was the last decent make we had, we've got Joma now and last one was Errea

I suppose its whatever company does it the cheapest, no end of small brands making shirts for teams in the Championship, and some teams in other leagues.
I wouldn't have known half of them a year or two ago!

Villa went from Umbro (who I think are very crap anyway), to Asics (remember when loads of top teams had Asics kits?), to Reebok (My fave modern kit), to bloody Hummel. I had no idea Hummel actually sold anything outside Denmark anymore until we ended up wearing their shite. At least it's not Errea though. The mighty Stafford Rangers have had a Nike kit for a few years though...

A lot of lower teams have Nike shirts, but they are just the basic style, and which can be bought, not supplied I think
