sorry but i cant help but think its going to end 1-0 to wigan beacause that would end with WHU (if they lose against united) sailing down relegation river and everybody else saving themselves the effort of exploring legal ways of gaining compensation if any of the others are relegated.......
is it just me or does this make sense to anybody else?

I've thought exactly the same thing, but it could backfire if West Ham get a result

It's certainly an idea I've seen floating around on the Sheff Utd fansites. I also heard it as a conspiracy theory put forward by some Hammers fans. Who having got off with a suprisingly light punishment for the 'dodgy argentinians' farce, are waiting for something to slap them in the face. It holds no water with me though, as I think on Sunday you'll have 3 clubs who'll be desperately fighting for their lives. They'll be no consideration of formulas that send other teams down. It'll just be an unpleasant, nerve jangling, gut-wreching fight for a win at Old Trafford and at the Lane!! The teams with the most bottle and/or luck will be the ones who comes through it, and I just we're one of them!! ........... I would love to see West Ham relegated though (see the thread on the Sheff Utd section for details!!)

I think Sheff Utd are gonna win it 1-0 and that'll be the end of it for Wigan. But anything could happen today. And the BBC's ineptitude will make it even more unpredictable:

Only problem with blunts going down is that we'll get no extra money from the Killa and Hulse transfers.
