Shit! This is a bit of dilemma. England to lose and McClaren loses his job or England win and McClaren keeps his job Dont know which one is better lol...........you win either way ;D

Let's face it, Estonia are gonna have ten men behind the ball and hope for a lucky break. 2-0 would be a good result, given the way we've played against teams like that recently.
Personally, I'm more interested in the performance today - link up play, running, through balls, passes just behind defenders, getting crosses in etc. It won't be pretty, but I want positive signs dammit!
And Morts, you call 7-1 optimistic? Estonia haven't scored a single goal in the qualifying campaign yet!

Listening on the radio; sounds like we're gonna get the result (2-0 right now) but damn, far too many mistakes for my liking Gerrard and Lampard both sound bad (Lampard's quiet, Gerrard's more active but I've heard 'mistake' about five times too often...), King's been poor, Cole's not been that impressive, the goal aside, Bridge and Brown haven't exactly lit the stage up... sounds like Beckham's been our top performer so far!

3-0 now and to be fair its been a good second half. beckham has played very well setting up two goals. and they were well taken goals too.

no, not really impressive. we scored goals against an inferior team.

It was job done against a team that threw everyone behind the ball. We used to struggle to get 1-0 against them, so it's a marked improvement and honestly more than I expected. Just a shame we still have McClaren on board really

Dropping Beckham now seems a major error, his performances in the last two games have been impressive and he is easily one of our best players, thought Bridge and Joe Cole had a good game, Lampard needs to be dropped, job done against a weak opposition, tougher games to come to determine our faith in this group.

Good win for England, chuffed we won, even though we have to put up with McClaren, absolutely chuffed for Owen and Beckham.
