Yes, our anthem gets booed. Yes, our fans get attacked. Yes the Macedonian fans burnt an England flag, Yes, our black players always seem to suffer racist abuse. But that still DOES NOT give us the right to boo other anthems, cause trouble at away matches (it can't be always the opponents who kick things off). I seem to remember reports of when Turkey came to Sunderland, their players suffered abuse, the coach was attacked (I think), our fans invaded the pitch after Vassell scored. Do we really have any right to criticise others after actions like that? Sorry for the rant guys, but that's my opinions. I cannot, and will never, condone racist action, and that includes booing the National Anthem That is a very, very good post, next exalt coming your way

Fucking hell, anyone would think that booing a national anthem is the most racially disgusting thing to do...going by what some people on this thread think!
To compare players being abused by the colour of their skin to a fucking song being booed is a joke. Booing the national anthem is not racist. Disrespectful it is but racist it is not.

i didnt say the booing of a national anthem was racist...but its disrespect to ones country and in short everything that person is...if someone boos or says something about england (and where i live and work thats often) i know i feel as someone has made a personal judgement at me...and may as well have been....its not as bad as calling someone for their colour no....but its the next best thing...aqnd our fans are some of the worse...the war was 60 years ago....who here in the world cup didnt say somit about wanting the germans to loose?.....football fans need to look at how they act sometimes
