2049: GOAL England 4-0 Greece England flood forward and a goal seems inevitable. It is. Peter Crouch cannot get on the end of Gary Neville's cross from the right, but when the ball is played back in from the left by Steven Gerrard he climbs to nod in his second.

2053: HALF-TIME England 4-0 Greece Steve McClaren must wonder what all the fuss is about. Just 45 minutes into his tenure as England head coach and his team are flying.

2108: The teams are back out at Old Trafford. An easy night for Paul Robinson is all over as Chris Kirkland comes on for his first cap. His appearance wins his old man close to £10,000 after he put a bet on years ago that Kirkland Jnr. would represent his country at odds of 100-1
maclaren gets a standing ovation as he comes back onto the touch line.

Refreshing to see an England Manager whose not only got a Plan A - but a B, C and D too. Like the formation of 4-3-3- when attacking or with the ball and a 4-5-1 when we lose possession. And in fairness the players seem comfortable and have played well (the opposition are poor to be honest) - but a wins a win! Well played England - and Steve MacLaren! Think the future looks rosy!
