Looking for any particular style of music? I can recommend several in the 'something different' category, but not sure if they'd be to your taste or not ;D

If you want some softer rock (think RHCP's 'The Zephyr Song' for instance) then I'd recommend Z-Scars or Brainstorm as 'something different'. They're both Latvian groups, though the latter sings in fluent, clear English, and are certainly a worthwhile addition to a CD collection.
If you want something more upbeat (still thinking 'something different'), I can name a host of Japanese groups (some sing in English, some don't), but I'm not sure if they'd be your thing or not. I can upload some tracks for you to get a vague idea of what they're like, if you want? One album in particular is 'interesting' - sung in Japanese with the odd few lines of English thrown in here and there, and in the space of 18 tracks they cover rock, pop, jazz, blues, techno, dance, samba and Irish folk!
If you want something heavier, go for Sonata Arctica's 'Ecliptica' album - think Iron Maiden territory, a wee bit faster with a keyboard thrown in, and you basically have it. Again, sample tracks are available~
