I recommend everyone agrees with my view it is an excellent Fillum...> La Haine is cool as fuck. With a good bit of MC Solaar doing the soundtrack

I think that Kate Beckinsale just stood in tight pants in front of a blue screen would've made for a better movie!! Anyway, what's all this about La Haine?? If you want to see the ultimate, true to life, gritty urban drama, 'Rita, Sue & Bob Too' is on this weekend!!! Better than Underworld Evolution??? True but I quite like the first Underworld.

La Haine is cool as fuck. With a good bit of MC Solaar doing the soundtrack I would hesitate to say it, but it's arguably cooler than fuck! (fuck being excellent, but generally more warm. unless you're an outdoorsy type. ok shut up now Jules.) WOOP! WOOP! THAT'S THE SOUND OF DA POLICE! (krs-one isn't it?)

Gladiator's actually a lot better than I expected it to be, and is well worth watching (even if you don't like the film itself, it's pretty good from a 'media studies' viewpoint too). Trav could probably give you a better idea of which ones to go for first though

Some of those films are an 18 certificate though (my brother made me sit down and watch Fight Club with him, I had nothing better to do). And I don't really like horror films, because my mind tells me they're real. I had nightmares over The Mummy, what hope is there for me with Pyshco!

Actually, Psycho wasn't that scary - bear in mind it's a 50's film The freakiest bit - for me - is when Norman smiles his mother's smile in the car at the end (Those of you who've watched it know what I mean) I know some Japanese films that'd really mess you up ;D One called Uzumaki is really weird - one magazine said in its review that it was "surreal and slimy enough to give Tim Burton nightmares." That's probably exaggerating a bit, but there's no doubting it's really strange! (And you probably won't be comfortable looking at any spirals for a long time )
