Nah I'd expected us to go down since the defeat at Villa!! I am sorry actually, I formed part of the "Hammers must go down" crew... ;D (Plus I didn't want to think of you weeping piteously...! ) I never weep, in any shape or form. I've seen us relegated and promoted enough times to not go overboard when either happens!!

I don't expect much to come over these legal wranglings (and nor should it!!) ....... except some law firms to make some more bundles of cash!!

Guess Who's Coming To Dinner 1967 Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn and Sidney Poitier. Based around a young woman getting engaged to a Yale doctor, but on arriving home with him, parents finding out he's black and how they deal with this! last film tracy ever stared in giving a great performance while hepburn won an oscar! also nominated in all major categories! was said the chemistry between tracy and hepburn, rumoured to have loved one another was the story they were actually acting out, hence their amazing performances! the speech by spencer tracy at the end was brilliantly written but the delivery was outstanding! there hasn't been anything close in years from what i can remember! 9/10

Switchblade Romance
Well i'd heard good things about this film so i thought id buy it when i saw it on Play for a fiver.
The film is in french, with english subtitles.
It is primarily about two young women who go to one of the girls' family house. Not long after a killer comes knocking and there is lots of blood/gore the two girls are the only ones left alive, and one of them gets taken buy the killer. By this point i was thinking it was a good film, better than your average horror. Im not easily scared by films, but this one had my heart pounding! It is only in the last half an hour when a MASSIVE twist comes out of nowhere, i wont elaborate on it too much but you really dont expect it and for me it ruined the film a little bit. But overall a very good horror, even if it is ruined a bit by the twist
8/10

United 93
This film reflects the real life accounts of the events that surrounded 9/11 on that fateful day. Four planes were hijacked, three of them as we know, unfortunatly reached their target to devastating effects.
This film focuses on the story of the 4th plane that was taken over by terrorists only to crash down near Shanksville, Pennsylvania when passengers on board foiled the terrorist plot.
A great docudrama which really evokes many of the emotions felt from that day. A truely powerful, thought provoking film.
8/10

Without the outrageously ridiculous twist I'd have given it 10/10......as it is 9.5/10 will have to suffice. That said it only really undermines the final 5 minutes. Still the most effective horror film since the 1970's though.

Great effects, superb scenes of a deserted London and zombies you could actually be afraid of (lets face it - as good as the Romero films were. if you were caught by the zombies in them you only had yourself to blame) Don't you start having a go at Romero, Lucky C!!!! Or you'll have me to answer to!!!
