Is it me or does this Christmas not have the great appeal to it. I'll be spending the holiday doing countless essays and revision and i'm at the age that no one buys me presents anymore, or if they do they ask what they should get, failing that it's just money. there's no fun in it any more It is true I wont get presents this year from anyone so, and i only get xmas day and boxing day off so really it is just like a long weekend when it will probably rain. Everyone else is doing stuff with their family so i wont see my mates, i will make dinner have some beers and watch some shitty rerun of a film i have seen 50 times already. 2 good things about xmas day The pub in the afternoon cos everyone is pissed. The great escape, i love that film Awww Neil that's really sad

Neil, you sound like me!!! Christmas can be a wholly depressing time for some people. Just seems a bit pointless. I will probably go to the footie on boxing day though so that is good.

Exactly, she made the best dinners, even the sprouts were nice she's give us wine (when we weren't allowed it) and always had soooo many presents!

I just leave them to argue God, this Christmas is gonna be bloody depressing. Loads of revision, barely any presents, no Gran and I was sposed to be spending this Christmas with my (now ex) boyfriend

mine will go up if and when I buy some. It only occured to me yesterday that as it is my first year living alone I'm going to have to buy myself a tree, but it feels like far too much hassle.
