You do not feel festive my dear because Christmas is a crock of shite. Nobody celebrates it for the reasons they should anymore it is just a big scandalous retail advertisement. Unfortunately. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) The commercial world revolves around December ![:(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/sad.png) . Still, I feel that Christmas with most people I know is still a generally happy time, and not a time to spend lots of money and be extravagent. Things like getting wasted go on all year, and the company of the Xmas dinner is more important than all the food. I've always felt like I'm lucky though.

Unfortunately. ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) I'm not religious, so I really shouldn't celebrate Christmas, although my mum's argued that it's a pagan festival ![:-/](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/undecided.png) However, it's all become ridiculously commercialised and what's got me annoyed is that everyone tells you how you should have an eco-friendly Christmas and such like. People get into debt and come January, you wish Christmas had never come. One thing I can celebrate about it though, is that it brings families and friends closer together ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)
