behind them? (ie a billionaires backing) You already have Chelsea, Portsmouth, Villa, Man Utd, and possibly West Ham Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal are quite big spenders too. Is it possible, with all the money behind them, ALL these clubs could compete for the title?  |

when abramovich is finally found out that he is a mafia man (i mean come on a football club is the best way to launder billions of pounds) and is arrested, his assets will be frozen and his football club financially raped.........i'd hate to be a chelsea fan on that day

Th Roman Abramovich method of pissing money at the transfer market and not developing from the grass roots will peter out soon enough, as soon as he needs money for something else. Also, I don't think other billionaire backers will be chucking as much money around as you might think, just more than the clubs do at present.
It's possible that more teams will be competing for the top 3 positions, but you're always going to have favourites for the title. Until Roman wakes up and/or is put to justice, Chelsea have the favourite tag in the bank.
