Off on quick tangent here Ro but any news on next years test match yet??? Yes mate! Thursday 31st July 2008: England vs South Africa (Edgbaston - it's day 2  To in all fixtures for next summer this test is starting on the Wednesday) And whilst on the topic of cricket I got a blinding email from DSD re Tig. Apparently last Wednesday he was doing his bit for charity and whilst playing Santa, leapt out of his sleigh, caught either his belt or his wellies during his energetic exit and fell over. Compound fracture of the wrist and has been in hospital ever since - three operations so far (NHS cocked it up the first time) and possibly another later this week depending on how much the pins / plate move. Bet the poor fucker's starving!  Nice one on the Test have we our tickets reserved and how much cash do you require? Foookin ouch poor Tig he will lose his Peter Kay look-a-like tag |

Right - best just check my PM (Ro and I are scheming questions - don't tell Gres) then best be sociable with Mrs PASTIE before she crashes out - think I might knock the work on the head though as I just get slower and slower and slower. Got to be done by Friday so could be a late one Thurs  |

As for tickets - I've got 4 reserved (on the assumption that Mike can stick the boredom for 6 hours). Failing that I bumped into Carlos (used to work with Si in Education) and mentioned cricket. he's gonna get back to me in the next week or two!

So that must getting on for 30 at least from the corridors (that I know of). And as Mike is such a larger than life figure (not just in his Admin role) on the board who know's how many are likely to hail from the masses |
