nice not.... shouldent be to bad for ya... me is doing Btec travel and tourism on 2ond of 2 years... in the hole that is telford... my sister is at plymouth uni though belive it or not... Ooooh, nice! I studies tourism as part of last year - was my favourite bit of the whole course, and my highest scoring! What be your sister do? Excuse the bad English, I am going to use this Board to vent my spelling mistakes and appalling grammar tonight - 'cos this don't put a fookin squiggly line under it - if I ever see Bill Gates I'll draw one across his forehead **squints myschievously** <---no idea how to spell that btw  You won't escape with bad spelling and grammar on any corridor of mine...  |

Frankly, I think that on here is our only real chance to communicate. And it troubles me that all these people are studying tourism. Is this our future? Shall we aspire to servitude as we seek only to manage and facilitate the leisure and recreational opportunities of those wealthier than ourselves. We don't aspire to lead or to produce? The future is bleak. I fear for my generation...  |

It may be hard for the older generation such as yourself to accept, but utimately we must end up more intelligent than you - it is a basis of all evolution, let alone human progress. This is why the spread and growth in popularity of service based vocational courses sponsored by industry troubles me so. I want an expansionist future in which I have the freedom to not only express myself but move humankind along. I don't want to be merely the vehicle by which the golf party knows with confidence that their massage and afternoon snack will be delivered punctually. But where is the progressive thinking coming from? Who will fund it? Who is in demand for the innovative or revolutionary? And you call yourself " El Pensador Original"... |
