Ah, corridor life...
Nice to see - even SWR returned from the vortex. He asked if I'd mind reading his dissertation. 'Course not went my reply. 18 pages in font 10 is what he sent back. I've just hidden it under Pete's sofa and pretended I read it...

I've been expecting you...
Actually I was looking for a thread on here to see if there was anything about Casino Royale...
Actually made it to the cinema for only the fourth time since PMV joined us - a rare treat - on Saturday, but was disappointed. Am I the only one? Or is it the legacy of Bond films to be just a little disappointing...?

Actually I'm actually using actually like David Norris Actually uses "you know" you know? And I am stone cold sober, just coming through an inexcusable midweek hangover which rendered me useless and bad tempered with the good children of South Devon all day

Ah.... hangovers are BAD! I (like a fool) went to my local 'bohemian' music pub to chat to a band with a view to interviewing them for a Rock 'n' Reel article. Ended up getting wankered on Proper Job.... Damn the youth of today!

Did you see the Keith Allen programme about Tourettes suffers on Channel 4 tonight? Interestingly, the people with the syndrome "tic'ed" most often in a classroom situation, and least often playing football.

The erratic responses are entirely due to my inablity to type properly!

Ah. My story was that I taught the morning at my place, made a swift exit to travel over the water to Torpoint where I worked the afternoon, tried zipping home through Plymouth's rush hour traffic then arrived back in time to join in with the PMV bedtime routine. THen darted out for a volleyball training session (with my height it was inevitable that I would take up the sport) at the end of which some fool said "Pub?". Seemed a great idea at the time. After all, long day, no food, sporting exertions - you'd need a pint of five wouldn't you?

Volleyball?! Really? I got to play lots of basketball at school as I was the same height as I am now, but many, many kilograms lighter... Blimey, you were in Torpoint - you could almost have carried on here for a cup of tea!

It did occur to me as it happens! Couldn't believe how long it took to get there. My little jolly to Cornwall (a rare treat with no classes in tow) turned out to be a bit busy. No job should involve getting on a ferry next to a double decker bus.

It was actually very good - Mr Allen didn't just arse about like a 'celebrity' but seemed to really empathise with the programmes subjects, and threw in a few good observations (all television is constructed from lies) alomg the way. He managed to be both intelligent and 'punk rock' which just about 'does it' for me, every time!
