Hmmm...
Well, PMV slumbers his head full of snot (we're green through and through in this family); he's on amoxycillin for tonsilitis, although most of it is staining my trousers (embarrassingly) where he spat it out. Tomorrow we're back to the doctor to see if he will be able to fly to Holland on Sunday - bit of a panic.
To calm the nerves, I have one final appointment in the pub - so will bid you all a good night I expect...

Poor little love, bless him! Bit of Calpol and some Nurofen and plenty of fluids as well don't forget!
Spitting out medicines - tell me about it - bless the little dears!! Aim for the sides of the cheeks, little bits at a time, that sometimes helps!

I expect regular phone calls...
And thanks for the childcare advice! At his worst he was even refusing Calpol, but we have got that in his and the amoxycillin and he is sleeping soundly as I type! Back to the docs tomorrow - gutted if we can't get to Amsterdam, but not willing to sacrifice his eardrums... Should be fine - thanks for all the nice thoughts. It is the most stressful thing there is - especially when they refuse to eat.
He'll be fine.
Anyway, the homing instinct is intact and I came back, you notice...

Hey ho.
<<scuffs some dust around the edge of a ten pence piece in the floor. Spies the recovering depression in Pete's sofa. Notes that GB's fridge hasn't been plugged in for a while. Roaster's ashtray is cold to touch. Observes recent dent in door frame where Gres keeps misjudging the exit. Sighs the sigh of a Prowler destined to return to his meanderings in darkness...>>

You may not believe this but some GPs in Plymouth classify not taking calpol as hospitalization criteria!!! Thank goodness for you you don't live here!! You'll get to Holland - panic not!! Have a good time and see you on the 1st - same time same place!

Cobra? Save that for the curry house big man!! Have plenty of premiums (Stella, Export and Oranjeboom in glass) and enough liquor to kill the French army (a bottle of each spirit you can think of an Laphroig hidden in the cupboard)... And no Spozz, none of it is 'spare', you have to come here and drink it! That's the point of a drinks cabinet!

Well after your experience with the wine and the car, I thought it'd be appropriate to take it out of harms way... Lemme just order a taxi!!
