Hmm, 1.18 on a work night. Always a mistake. But at least it is the last week before Christmas - always the time slot when schools are at their most quiet and calm... SOtgocP before it gets even worse...

Hmm. Just put PMV to bed and fell asleep myself. Sat here blinking in even this faint corridor light feeling as rough as you like. To work, to work, to work...

Once again I'm too late - damn! Presumably everyone's involved in late-night street parties to celebrate the demise of mass-murdering scumball Pinochet..... Hmmm, apparently, Thatcher's not feeling too well either....

Too early, PD, I'm afraid. And cheers Gres, the bin was luxuriantly wheeled down the drive earlier this evening. Gone are the days when I used to heave wet soggy nappy laden bin bags over a back wall into a lane hoping beyond all hope that it wouldn't burst and spew back onto my head. In that respect, my 'ascent' into the middle classes has been pretty painless! And as for PD, yet more good points well made. On my old street, somebody came knocking a while back asking if I would help set up a street party to mark the Golden Jubilee. I told them that I wasn't but that they should feel free to knock again when Thatcher kicks the bucket. It may have been the old lead balloon, but they never troubled me again. Seen "Missing"? I know we shouldn't judge history by a film, but it is still hard to swallow that in his latter years we were a safe haven for Pinochet. I wonder how it was received in Chile. Anyway, I shall wander briefly and see what has passed on this quiet night. I've been drinking Bombardier, JB whisky and, bizarrely, eating Venison Biltong from Crediton farmer's market. Bet there's nobody else on line who can claim that.

Oh and an exalt for PD, who should not be regarded so lowly.
He should still change his name to "Pasties roasting on an open fire" though...

21! And spending it on here! We're honoured and you're not sad at all! Trying very hard to remember my 21st, can't picture it at all. Would have been at Uni too, in my second year, so probably a good sign
